El hombre es un parásito para el hombre
La Historia narra cómo la Tierra ha presenciado cinco extinciones masivas a causa del desarrollo mismo de la naturaleza. La desaparición definitiva de las especies en el planeta ha sido siempre a causa de catástrofes naturales pero ahora, en estos tiempos tan modernos en los que vivimos despilfarrando y destruyendo todo a nuestro paso como si el mundo fuese un chicle mascado, tirado al suelo y pisoteado, nos encontramos al borde de una sexta extinción de las especies causada no por ningún desastre natural, sino por todos nosotros. El ser humano es un parásito para el planeta –y por lo tanto para él mismo- y el terrible hecho de que nos encontremos inmersos en la crisis de la biodiversidad solo puede ser por nuestra culpa. Estamos arrasando con todo. Una sola especie está provocando la desaparición de las demás.

he puts his hands up like he’s pleading and catches the guy completely off guard. i mean. he’s got a gun. guy’s on his knees. he feels totally safe and in control of the situation. then the guys hands are right next to the gun and he surprises him and immediately tilts the weapon up and away from him and yanks the arm down while thrusting his legs forward to kneecap the guy and manages to wrench the gun away
so shit now the second guy is on the ground with probably a broken knee and no gun and the first guy has the weapon and is fucking free and clear remember this me you need to remember this

He is the outcome of the rich being able to buy anything, including our democracy.
He is an outcome of centuries of underlying unaddressed, massively denied and metastasized racism …

He is not us.
He is not all of us.
He is not the best of us.
He is not inevitable.
